Adrienne Maloof Preps for Season Two of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

With all the talk over whether or not Camille Grammer will return for a second season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, one small item is yet to be addressed: Bravo has not actually renewed this show for a second season.
Considering the ratings for last week's finale, however, it's a safe to assume that Camille, Kim, Kyle and company will return. Simply put, "we're preparing for season two," says Adrienne Maloof.

As for her experience on the series, Maloof spoke with E! News and shared views on her status, Camille's nuttiness and more.
On her role: I would hope that I would continue to be the voice of reason. I'm the type of person that - if it's not an issue that I think is worth fighting for, there's no reason to have a third person in there, because there's just so many other things that are more important.
On Camille's behavior: I think she's going through a lot and that puts her emotionally very touchy. I didn't really know her to be that way. Certainly it has to be difficult going through a divorce and having children and having it played on national television. I'm sure it can't be easy.
On Camille vs. Kyle: I think Camille is very passionate about what she believes in and Kyle is very passionate about what she believes in, and their personalities just don't jibe. That's OK; I think at the end of the day they should agree to disagree. I don't think they'll ever be BFFs. But who knows? Stranger things have happened.
On clashing with her husband: I have to say we have a great marriage - we just happen to be very straightforward, get it out, and then it's over with. It's lighthearted... and I'd rather get out what bothers me than hold it in.

Keith Olbermann to Collaborate With Aaron Sorkin on New HBO Pilot?

In the 72 hours since MSNBC fired Keith Olbermann, speculation over the pundit's future has spread widely. One rumor? A TV collaboration with Aaron Sorkin.
The award-winning scribe of A Few Good Men, The West Wing, The Social Network and Moneyball fame has a new pilot in the works about a cable news show.
Sorkin spent time on Olbermann’s Countdown set while penning scripts (he also shadowed Chris Matthews and several Fox News shows) over the past year.
Keith O.A. Sorkin
NATURAL TANDEM: A collaboration among left-leaning favorites Olbermann and Sorkin almost seems overdue. The former has plenty of time on his hands ...
EW reports that Olbermann may serve as a consultant to the show, if it gets picked up, and perhaps even deliver some of his signature rants on camera.
Sorkin's failed series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip was panned a few years back for the simple fact that its SNL-style comedy sketches were unfunny.
Olbermann going off on long-winded tirades would certainly give a show (which HBO is reportedly considering) about cable news an air of authenticity.
Keith's next step is unclear, but reports say he may be on the shelf less than six months under the terms of his buyout deal with MSNBC. Stay tuned.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Recap: Mayhem in Miami!

On a scale of 1-10, the drama on last night's The Real Housewives of Atlanta registered an 11. What led to such mayhem in Miami? Our critic reveals all in the following review...
Nene Leakes was in rare form... and that's saying a lot.  From the moment she got on the tour bus, Nene attacked Kim about her singing, her dancing, her treatment of Sweetie, her wigs; for basically just being alive.  Nene demanded respect and when Kim told her to shut up, that seemed to set off some chemical imbalance in Nene's head.
Shock at a Stripper
Sheree, Phaedra and Cynthia were hoping for the most relaxing weekend of their lives and had no idea what awaited them when the bus finally appeared in the driveway of Thomas Kramer's Star Island mansion.  A "Big Popppa-esque" friend of Kim's, creepy Thomas, had offered up his estate for the ladies to use for their getaway.
They were shocked when Nene and Kim shot out of the bus like bats out of Hell.  Phaedra felt like she was watching a UFC match.  Sheree was stunned at the level of anger Nene was spewing.  Nene was all about "slaves and popping eyes out!" (Thank you, Phaedra.)  And Cynthia thought this was going to be a mellow weekend.  Surprise!
Upon meeting Thomas, Nene's first words to him were how she couldn't believe he was friends with a whack job like Kim.  The other ladies just looked around in disbelief at the ticky tacky hacienda.  Eccentric didn't even begin to describe the place.  Not only was the mansion painted a bizarre red, but the inside contained enough stuffed wildlife and freakish artwork to fill a sideshow.  Perfect for the circus this weekend had become.
Sweetie was upset at Nene's stupidity.  How dare Nene call her a slave? Slaves don't get paid, dumbass! Kim tried to console Sweetie and hoped that Sweetie didn't think she really treated her like a peasant.
Meanwhile, Kandi sided with Nene on how Kim talks to people.  But she reminded Nene that Sweetie is a grown ass woman.  She can make her own decisions on how she'll be treated.  Kim mistakenly thought Kandi would have her back on this one and made the decision that her friendship with Nene was over.  Strangle me once, shame on you...strangle me twice, shame on me.  Game over.
The tension was out of control in the house.  Nene wanted to stay at a hotel, but the ladies told her that would ruin the whole point of getting together for a "girls only" weekend so she stayed.  They should have let her go.  She bitched, she griped, she moaned, she rolled her eyes until it looked as if she were having a seizure.  Especially annoyed that everyone seemed to have invited a guest, Nene was upset that nobody was following the rules.  When Ladyboy Lawrence, Sheree's hair stylist, showed up for dinner Nene decided she need an ally and invited her friend Diana, aka "The Hulk," down for the weekend.
Cynthia as a Model
Kim and Kandi played their final gig of the tour at an outdoor music festival.  Kim mercifully only performed "Tardy for the Party" since they had to cut her stage time down to one song.
Nene attended the show, but was beyond bored.  Sheree and Phaedra were pleasantly surprised by her performance.  Kandi killed on stage when she sang "Fly Above" and declared that she was super ready to be on the top of the charts again.  The promo tour went well, but Kandi was glad it was finally over.
At brunch the next day, Kim made the decision there was no reason Sweetie should be sent home now that Nene had invited Diana for the weekend.  The weekend was not about Nene, it was about Cynthia, so to Hell with Nene's "rules."  Kim called out Nene for being an ungrateful guest and told her if she was so unhappy with the estate and Thomas' hospitality then she should stop chowing down his food and guzzling his wine.  Was Nene the worst houseguest ever?  Hell to the yes!
Cynthia stressed out about her impending (maybe) wedding the entire weekend.  She was in Miami for her AZ Araujo bikini runway show and decided to focus on that, at least for the moment. After all, she needed the money.  Looking fierce in the bathing suits she modeled, the ladies were all amazed at how much junk Cynthia had in her trunk.  Who knew?
Complimentary to her face, the cattiness hurled by the ladies behind Cynthia's back was meow-mean.  Sheree judged Cynthia to be a size 12; Nene said "young" was not on Cynthia's side; and Phaedra eloquently commented that Cynthia looked like a pretzel dipped in cottage cheese.
Cynthia's stress level peaked at lunch the following day when Kandi asked about Cynthia's honeymoon plans.  Breaking down, she ran out and Nene tried to convince her that they should leave Miami immediately.  Sheree was beyond livid and thought Cynthia was an ungrateful bitch.  The ladies had all flown down to Miami for Cynthia's bachelorette party and now Cynthia wanted to bail?  Sheree advised Cynthia to get out from under Nene's ass and woman up.
The ladies discussed the source of Cynthia's stress being financial and her wanting to save face by continuing with the wedding plans. They all agreed that Cynthia had to get married for the right reasons.  That didn't mean canceling the bachelorette party, though.  Phaedra had strippers lined up, after all, and she couldn't let those go to waste.
Sheree convinced Cynthia to stay and the party finally got going when Ladyboy Lawrence broke the ice by doing spot-on imitations of all the ladies.  Phaedra's stripper clients (!?!) gyrated about and the weekend finally came together.
Finally relaxed, Cynthia was ready to face her wedding drama back home.  Here comes the (runaway) bride!

Paris Hilton Sex Tape Downloaders: Sued!

Sorry, cyber sex tape pirates. Those of you downloading the Paris Hilton sex tape and trying to re-sell it are likely to get served with a giant ass lawsuit.
You may also want to run McAfee virus scan. Just saying.
It's hard to believe it's been seven years since the Paris Hilton sex tape, a.k.a. the only reason you know who Paris Hilton is, first surfaced on the Internet, but it's still super popular online, as 843 purveyors illegally selling it prove.
Rick Salomon and Paris Hilton
A rare clothed shot of Paris Hilton and ex Rick Salomon.
The company that owns the copyright to 1 Night in Paris (title never gets old) has filed the suit against 843 "John Does" for cyber-stealing the infamous flick.
The Paris Hilton sex tape is referred to as a "motion picture" in the suit. Amusing, since it's just Paris' hands, mouth and hips in various stages of motion.
The defendants all allegedly pilfered the "motion picture" between 2010 and 2011, so you can imagine how many times it's been ganked since 2003-2004.
In the year of its release, Rick Salomon made $10M, making it the most lucrative night vision sex romp in history. You almost have to give the sleaze credit.
Paris quietly settled out of court for a cut of the proceeds.

Producer Teases Newer, Edgier Britney Spears

Britney Spears' new single, "Hold It Against Me," has already made music history by making her the second artist ever to have two songs debut at #1.
What does the rest of her new album have in store?
"It's way more edgy than the last album," says Claude Kelley, who composed several tracks for the as-yet-untitled album, referring to Circus.
Worse For the Wear
HARDER: Britney Spears is gonna get gritty.
He adds that Spears is returning to the tougher, grittier sounds of 2007's Blackout. "[It's] more in the vein of the album before [Circus]," he says.
"The last album [Circus] was more clean pop. [Its purpose] was to reintroduce Britney to the world as the pop princess ... this is much edgier."
Basically, get ready for some club-worthy tracks.
"Dr. Luke and Max Martin are running the show, and it's all about the beats. It has a heavier bass line and it's harder, more urgent, more club."

Lindsay Lohan is DONE With Clubbing

So ... Lindsay Lohan is never going clubbing again.
As in forever. Ev. Er. Like for reals. No more of this.
According to TMZ, the star is telling people she is "completely over the club scene" and realizes that cutting it out is the best way to avoid temptation.
LOL Lindsay
No more of this, Lindsay vows ... sadly/fortunately.
In other words, no more going with her crew and "just having water." She is serious about remaining sober and believes cold turkey is the way to go.
If you can stop laughing for five seconds, you can also note that, supposedly, she's even ditching friends and colleagues with whom she goes clubbing.
She'll therefore socialize only with her lawyer and Michael Lohan from now on.
Kidding. Possibly. What do you think? Can Lindsay's goal be achieved?

Ted Williams Checks Out of Rehab

Ted Williams has checked out of rehab. But this is not as positive of a step as it may sound like for the former panhandler.
Fewer than two weeks after he checked into the Origins Recovery Center in South Texas, TMZ reports that the man who sky-rocketed to fame on the basis of his wonderful voice has left the facility. Against doctor's orders.
Golden Voiced
Williams had followed the advice of Dr. Phil in mid-January and supposedly come to the realization that he needed assistance with drug and alcohol dependency. This revelation took place just days after he got into a heated exchange with his daughter.
Let's all hope that Williams starts focusing less on fame and more on his health.

Sofia Black D'Elia: Proud of Skins, No Fan of Snooki

Sofia Black D’Elia stars on the controversial new MTV show Skins.
As Tea, a teenage lesbian, she knows the show is bound to raise eyebrows, but defends her work on it despite the early pull-out of advertisers.
“Ss an actor on the show I’m proud of everything that we’ve done,” Sofia tells Steppin' Out. “We created something that we really care about."
Sofia Black D'Elia Picture
SKIN: Sofia Black D'Elia is comfortable in hers.
"We feel the show has so much heart and potential and can impact so many teens,” Sofia said. “If people are going to focus on a 17-year-old having a sex scene as opposed to the rest of the entire series, there’s nothing else I can really say."
"I think those people are missing out. For parents who are afraid to let their children watch the show, they probably have some serious trust issues with their kids if they think they can be that easily persuaded by a television series."
Of parents calling this the worst show ever, she says, "I think they need to talk to their kids. There’s a serious lack of communication if they’re not letting them watch a one-hour scripted drama with the hopes they won’t get into trouble."
“We’re not raising America’s children, parents are! If you’re nervous about it, watch it with them. Maybe it will be a great conversation starter on topics they normally aren't comfortable talking about with their kids, like sex and drugs."
Surprisingly insightful stuff, no?
The hot new MTV show is rivaling Jersey Shore in the ratings, but Sofia isn’t among the legions of fans enamored by its pint-sized star, Snooki.
“I’ve never been impressed with anything Snooki has done,” she said, but did compliment the blockbuster hit as “funny and entertaining.”
Hopefully there's a Skins/Shore crossover in the works later on.

Bristol Palin: Dating Some New Guy!

Bristol Palin has a new boyfriend.
What his name is and what he looks like, we have no idea. Yet. No idea YET. We know that's the only reason you're here, but chill. Give it a few hours.
Asked on KWHL's The Bob & Mark Show if she's really dating the 20-year-old Alaska pipeline worker, she said, "Are you guys getting personal with me, really?"
Top Five Dancer
The hosts on the Anchorage-based show pushed her to just admit she has a new boyfriend, helpfully suggesting that she simple confirm this much:
"Yeah, you know what, I'm seeing a guy and he's really great and Tripp loves him and we're having a really good time and we're really good friends."
Bristol Palin laughed and said, "Yeah, we can go with that. I'm thrilled. I love the town that I live in. I love my house. Tripp's happy; he's healthy."
The house is her new five-bedroom abode in Maricopa, Ariz., she recently purchased for $172,000 and for which she "wrote a check," she says.
"It was cool. It made Dancing with the Stars worth it, for sure."
Palin, who ended her relationship with Levi Johnston, the father of her son Tripp, for a second time in August, wants to change Tripp's last name.
She hasn't gotten around to forcing the issue with Levi, who's got a new companion of his own in Sunny Oglesby, in quite a long while, though.
"Yeah, I've asked Levi to do it many times, get it out of the way, just sign over parental rights, but I don't know if he wants to or will," she said.
She says she's willing to live without child support if he does.
"Yeah, of course, I've asked him to do that many times – just say, 'Hey, look, let's just avoid this custody case and just sign over your rights.'"
"'He's always going to be your son, you can see him whenever you want,' but he doesn't want to sign him over because it looks bad," she said.
Asked how often Johnston sees Tripp, she said, "Since Dancing With the Stars he's seen him, at the most, three times." Only for like hours too.
Let this be a lesson to you, pipeline worker boyfriend guy. You best be there to care for Tripp, not just shoplift the pootie from a single mom.

Farrah Abraham Calls Out Kim Kardashian, Stands Up For Teen Mom

Just a few hours ago, THG debated whether Kim Kardashian should give advice on teen pregnancy, in light of her recent remarks on MTV's Teen Mom.
This celebrity gossip writer argued that Kim's comments were uncalled for, given the reasons behind her fame, and it was not her place to weigh in.
Farrah Abraham appears to agree.
Farrah Abraham, DaughterStill Single
It looks like Kim's Teen Mom tirade may have gotten a bit too preachy for one of its cast members, who responded to K-squared's criticism on Twitter.
Last week, Kim took to her blog to speak out against teen pregnancy and included MTV’s Teen Mom in the missive, saying it fosters a troubling trend.
“It seems that shows like Teen Mom are all of a sudden making teen pregnancy seem cool in the eyes of young girls,” was one choice Kim excerpt.
“These kids are all over the news, even covers of magazines, and have almost become celebrities, but girls, these are not people you should idolize!”
Farrah Abraham takes issue with Kim, to say the least.
“So i must say i’m not feuding with anyone, but honestly kim is not a role model if anything she encourages teens to become pregnant,” she writes.
"Sex tape, drinking stupidly, Playboy, all the guys. Really you remind me of a mess. I am a role model so if people are in need I can help."
“You should never use Trend & teen pregnancy in the same sentance!!” said the mother of baby Sophia. “Wow stick to your fashion scene.”
What do you think? Is Farrah out of bounds in her response to Kim? And was Kim even in the right to speak out on this in the first place?
We asked this earlier in our THG ASKS segment and will do so again: Should Kim Kardashian be giving advice on teen pregnancy?

Jared Lee Loughner Pleads Not Guilty

For the second time since he allegedly shot 19 people, killing six, Jared Lee Loughner appeared inside a courtroom today. He pleaded not guilty to charges that he tried to kill Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and two of her aides.
At the moment, the 22-year old faces federal charges of trying to assassinate Giffords and this pair of government officials. He will later face state charges that center on the other victims.
Jared Lee Loughner Photo
Loughner entered a Phoenix courthouse wearing an orange jumpsuit and glasses. His hair has grown out slightly since his sinister mug shot was snapped two weeks ago.
During the hearing, U.S. District Judge Larry Burns asked Loughner's attorney, Judy Clarke - who has represented such clients as Ted Kaczynski and Olympic bomber Eric Rudolphwhether - if there was any question about her client's ability to understand the case against him.
"We are not raising any issues at this time," Clarke said.
This issue could be pertinent because many believe Clarke will pursue a defense of mental incompetency for the alleged shooter. Burns set a March 9 hearing to consider motions in Loughner's case.
As for Giffords, she remains hospitalized until doctors determine when it is safe to move her to a rehab facility.
